Tech Policy + Governance

I’m particularly interested in the global technology policy landscape, with a special focus on how day-to-day policy decisions made by platform companies have global political effects. I’m interested in the political impacts of moderation policies, content policies, automation policies, real-name policies, etc, and have some work on this coming out soon.

This is related to broader tech policy interests, including the politics of encryption, surveillance, privacy, filtering & censorship, as well as fun, speculative tech ‘futures’ including the IoT, quantum tech, cryptocurrencies, and more.
